Pumpkin Patch!! and the Sunday after...

They were kneeling in the corn but it looks like they're standing, huh?

SOO excited to ride on the tractor!

I love him.

On the search to find the perfect pumpkin

It's a serious business...

But we found one!!

Haha! Her face kills me! It must have been a heavy one!

So the girls were all carrying their pumpkins on their heads...
Peyton wanted to be one of the big girls too!

It took forever for us to get a picture of her where she looks like she is sorta smiling.
This was the best we could get!

We take pumpkin carving pretty seriously around here...
Yes, I am using power tools to carve the pumpkin.
No, no one was hurt.

Peyton's super cute Sunday outfit!

Taking a picture with our pumpkins!

This might be my favorite picture of Peyton and I...

Peyton loving me for loving Ben for making me lunch.
And no, this wasn't planned!

Ducks and Corn Dogs

Peyton and I like to go feed the ducks at the BYU duck pond. This time though, we didn't bring any bread so Peyton just shared her lunch with the ducks. This little girl loves being outside! We had a blast chasing ducks and watching the turtles... just... lay... there... for almost 30 minutes! Oh well, if Peyton had fun, then I did too!!

Caramel Apples

Awhile ago one of our friends made some AMAZING caramel apples. They were perfect: the apples were perfect, the caramel was not too soft and not too hard, and they were pretty! They looked so good. So we thought that it wouldn't be too hard to do ourselves, right?

Judge for yourself.

Unfortunately, these apples didn't look anything like the ones my friend made... but they tasted great! Oh well, maybe next time!!

Smelling the flowers

Eating the flowers

Oh man, her cast KILLS me...
but she won't let it stop her from going on a little hike.
She was a trooper!!

Caramel Apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolates?
Yes please.

So yummy!!

And the bloopers from our little trip.....

How cute is this little monster?

Super cute.

Easy How-To Science Project

Step 1: Put a bar of (Ivory) soap on a plate.

Step 2: Microwave it for a minute or 2. Let cool for not that long...

Step 3: Play with it a little... make shapes or a mess and ignore the fact that its noon and we're still in our PJs.

Hunting for Witches

Best picture of the day!!
Peyton was showing us what a witch does/says ("Hee, hee, hee!")

In West Jordan, there is this group of cute shops called Gardner Village. Every year around Halloween, they decorate the entire place with cute Halloween decorations and different witches that they hide around the stores. If you find all the witches, you get a chocolate chip cookie! (We thought it'd be free but it was 30 cents instead of a dollar.)

The witches were pretty funny (and funny looking too). It was fun to walk around and look at the different witches. They were really tall too (6 - 8 ft each). I think Peyton could have cared less for the witches. She showed more interest in the ducks, koi fish, and Grace :) Oh well, I had a good time! And the cookie was pretty good, too!!

Cute Pumpkins

Sharing crackers with her best friend...
Can you believe that these two will be in the same grade?!

Owen was the bravest, Peyton was a little unsure, the twins were being awesome brothers, and poor Grace...

I LOVE this idea... So cute :)
